The Chase star would 'hate' Strictly and brands it an 'awful and 'miserable' experience

The Chase ‘s Anne Hegerty has revealed why she would never do Strictly Come Dancing.

The quiz guru explained that she would find the whole experience “awful and “miserable”.

Anne spoke exclusively to the Daily Star and talked about her TV hopes for the future – which includes staying on her quizzing show for as long as possible.

But it looks like reality TV is off the cards for Anne, with the star also noting that she would not go back to I’m A Celebrity… for an all-stars if she was given the call.

Though she would never even attempt to do Strictly due to not being able to dance.

Anne told us: “Strictly has been noted before but I can’t dance it would be like six months of my life. It would be awful and I would be miserable and I would hate it, so no. I would never even get talked into acting like I might be interested in doing it.”

Anne was the fifth contestant to leave I’m a Celebrity in 2018, but admitted that she tried to quit after just one day.

Upon leaving the jungle, The Governess embraced her campmates and said: “Yes! I’m sorry, I am just pleased. It’s brilliant, isn’t it?”

She explained how she felt she was “walking into hell” at one point when she went to Snake Rock and after the stint she went into the Bush Telegraph and told them she quit.
However, she was told to return “in a few hours” and managed to stay in for as long as she could.

She added at the time: “I could not have done it without ten other fantastic people, they are so kind.”

In further Chase news, Anne’s co-tar Jenny Ryan recently revealed that she often gets sent “intimate photos” from fans.

The Vixen star explained that although the ITV show has the “best fans” – sometimes they go a little too far.

She told the Daily Star: “Everyone is so happy to see us, we aren’t a guilty pleasure anymore, we are a genuine pleasure for so many people and they are happy to see us I think.

She added: “It’s people who still hide behind the keyboard online and they have sad lives and they need to take it out on someone – the strangest ones are when you get the intimate photographs.”
