The Chase fans were left in hysterics after budding contestant made quite the impression when he made his striking TV debut.
During Wednesday’s (March 23) instalment of the popular ITV quiz show, Bradley Walsh welcomed four quiz heads onto the show as they attempted to beat the chaser and take home the cash prize.
As he opened the show, he introduced this week’s contestants Claire, Debbie, Steve and Colin as they showed off their general knowledge against Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha.
Colin came on with bags of confidence as he appeared on the show in a bold Union Jack patterned waist coat with a matching Union Jack bow tie as he took on the chaser.
Luckily, he managed to soar through the competition with ease as he took home an impressive £7,000 on the daytime show.
And it’s fair to say that the quizzer left his mark on viewers with his charming personality and daring fashion choices.
After watching his impressive round against the Chaser, fans swarmed to Twitter to share their thoughts on his bold outfit choice online.
One user joked: “No one can say Colin didn’t get dressed up for the show today #TheChase.”
Another added: “Colin’s house probably has portraits of Winston Churchill around [cry laughing emoji] #TheChase.”
A third chimed in with: “I love Colin’s waistcoat! Fantastic [smiling emoji] #TheChase” while one fan of the show quipped: “I bet Colin is organising a HUGE jubilee party for the queen this year! #TheChase.”
But the 59-year-old wasn’t done wowing viewers at home just yet as he performed his sweet poem he wrote ahead of the show which shared his thoughts on all of the chasers on the show.
And viewers couldn’t help but fall for his cheesy poem as they gushed over the star online.
One fan wrote: “Loves his poem does Colin on #TheChase” as another added: “Colin’s poem was so cute! #TheChase.”
A third joked: “Imagine trying to report a crime and have Colin try and turn everything into a poem #TheChase.”
