The Chase host Bradley Walsh was left speechless when David Grant made a flirty comment to Chaser Jenny Ryan.
Singer David’s cheeky remark was made in a celebrity edition of the hit ITV game show, called The Chase: Celebrity Special, which aired in 2018.
The comedian and vocal coach, 65, was the first star to step up to the podium and face Chaser Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan in the studio – in a bid to win a hefty cash prize for charity.
On his star-studded team was comedian Andy Hamilton, Paralympian Jonnie Peacock, and doctor Pixie McKenna.
David got off to a successful start as he racked up £6,000 in his cashbuilder round, so it was time for him to receive his three cash offers from Jenny.
The Vixen gave David a high offer of £36k and a low offer of just £1k, Bradley asked him: “Let’s face the table, David. What do you want to do?”
David then shocked Bradley with his saucy comment to Jenny, describing her as a “temptress”.
Before choosing the £6k offer, he said: “Six thousand is good. Thirty-six thousand is tempting. So, not just a Vixen but a temptress, eh?”
His Chaser grinned at his comment, and for a moment the studio was silent before a couple of audience members started laughing.
Bradley, however, was stunned at David’s flirty line and he looked visibly taken aback by it.
Enjoying the moment, some members of the audience started wooing, but Bradley looked closer to cringing than anything else.
The baffled host raised his eyebrows in disbelief and looked around the room.
Later in the show, David and his teammate Jonnie made it back, but Andy and Pixie were sadly booted off of the panel after getting out-quizzed by Jenny.
Unfortunately, the duo lost their jackpot of £9,000 in the Final Chase, and Jenny believed they would have needed one more person on their team to beat her.
