Disney+ have today released the first teaser clip for The Kardashians which will be available on Star, on the streaming service.
It comes just over a year since the reality megastars announce they would not be renewing their family show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Taking to Twitter, the platform released a teaser clip of the Kardashian-Jenner family alongside the caption: “New year, new beginnings. See you soon #TheKardashians #DisneyPlus.”
The short clip appeared alongside the message: “When the countdown to the New Year ends, the countdown to the new show begins,” before the famous family appear on screen saying: “Happy New Year everyone.”
During the teaser, Kylie Jenner cradles her baby bump as she prepares to welcome her second child with boyfriend Travis Scott.
It was announced on September 8, 2020, that the Calabasas-born stars would not be renewing their contract with E! as they began filming their 20th season, which concluded on June 20, 2021.
The stars who have gone on to create several spin-off shows broke down into tears as they confirmed the news with the crew members who were responsible for delivering the hit reality show.
While Keeping Up With The Kardashians featured every member of the family, the service confirmed that Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian West, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner are the main cast members.
The Kardashians will be produced by Fulwell 73 partner, Ben Winston, who is responsible for several One Direction music videos as well as serving as the executive producer of The Late Late Show with James Corden.
Fans have since taken to social media sharing their joy with one tweeting: “Can’t wait to tune in to #TheKardashians!”
A second went on to add: “I’ll have to subscribe to Hulu just to watch #TheKardashians.”
“I’m so excited!!! I’m looking forward to watching this!!! #TheKardashians,” wrote a third.
Before a fourth penned: “This will be IKONIC #TheKardashians.”
The news that the family had signed to work with Disney+ was confirmed by Kris Jenner, who took to Twitter saying: “Excited to announce our new multi-year partnership with Hulu and Star and what’s to come in 2021.”
