It was all about amore on tonight’s The Masked Singer love special.
But one celebrity who ultimately didn’t feel the love was Bagpipes, who was exposed to be celebrity, Pat Cash.
Davina McCall was convinced Bagpipes was Pat Cash ahead of the big reveal, while Rita Ora was convinced Tim Henman was behind the mask.
Also sure Bagpipes was a tennis player was Jonathan Ross who was certain the star was John McEnroe.
Mo Gilligan however didn’t think Bagpipes was a tennis ace, but instead, thought he was YouTubing fitness ace Joe Wicks.
Alongside Bagpipes in the bottom two was Poodle, who performed an impressive rendition of Clean Bandit’s Symphony.
While Bagpipes performed I Only Want to Be with you by Dusty Springfield.
Speaking after his elimination from the programme, Pat opened up about what made him want to go on the show.
The Bagpipes star shared: “I’ve always been a frustrated rock star and fancied doing the Masked Singer from the first day I saw it. I just thought it would be so much fun to rock out, although I prefer to hide behind a guitar instead of a sweaty mask.
“It was a great experience overall. As luck would have it, my schedule cleared. I’m a big believer in letting your higher power take over and I suppose it meant I was able to take part in the show.”
Elsewhere on the show, the judges were convinced Poodle was a musical theatre performer thanks to their belting vocals, while judge Rita Ora wondered if Rockhopper was former Loose Women presenter Jamelia.
Traffic Cone put on an impressive performance to When She Loved Me by Sarah MacLachlan, which left the judges visibly emotional and Panda turned up the heat with a thrusting performance to Hot Stuff by Donna Summer.
