The One Show’s Ronan Keating has been left red-faced after his co-star Alex Jones exposed him on air.
The presenting pair chatted to Strictly Come Dancing 2022 star Fleur East about her time on the BBC show.
On Wednesday (October 12), she opened up about how it felt to be in the bottom two and have to dance again.

Though during the discussion, Alex exposed a brutal dig that Ronan had made earlier on.
Talking about being in the bottom two, Ronan said to Fleur: “You must prepare yourself mentally for that.”
To which Fleur replied: “Yeah you do, but I don’t think anything can prepare you.

“You’re so nervous and you work hard all week for that one performance and you have to do it again and go up against someone you really like.
“Our group is so tight ad we are rooting for everybody, my initial reaction when I realised they saved me, I just looked at Richie and went ‘ooh’.
But then Welsh host Alex then chimed in to say: “But as Ronan said earlier, callous, some would say – ‘somebody’s gotta go.'”

Looking flushed, Roman blushed: “Did I say that?”
Alex then laughed and added: “He’s a lovely boy.”
In further Strictly Come Dancing new, Blue star Simon Webbe has revealed that he hasn’t spoken to his dance partner in over six years.
Simon competed on the programme in 2014 alongside Kristina Rihanoff and came first runner-up in his series.
Simon, 43, chatted exclusively to the Daily Star on a Facebook Live chat earlier on Tuesday (October 12).

Talking about his pro pal, he said: “I haven’t spoken to Kristina in at least six years. I might have bumped into her or something.
“When you’re in the bubble you talk every day and you’re like ‘we’ll be friends forever and be like call me any time’.
“Of course, if she reached out or visa versa then, or we’d be like happy birthday then we get a little message but we don’t speak on a daily basis or whatever.”
