This Morning chaos as Phillip Schofield swipes at Rochelle she 'should have rehearsed'

This Morning soon collapsed into chaos on Blue Monday, as Rochelle Humes struggled to present the much-loved Spin to Win segment – with Phillip warning her that they “should have rehearsed”.

With her co-star Phillip Schofield, Rochelle was tasked with running the balls while Phil took care of the wheel. And in no time, the presenters were explaining the rules – that fans calling into the show would have to say the catchphrase without a pause on the phone line.

But Rochelle wasn’t quite with the programme yet, as she struggled to find her mark on-set.

It began as Rochelle began to strut off-set before Phil gave her the cue, leading to her striding off camera without warning.

“Where are you going? Come back!” Phil urged her.

The programme erupted into chaos

The pair soon collapsed into giggles, as Phil commented: “We should have rehearsed this!” and Rochelle begged him: “Tell me where to go!”

Phil told her: “I’ll tell you when!” and directed her towards the ball machine – which meant Rochelle missed her cue to read the next bit of script.

Still chuckling, Phillip asked her: “Do you want to read this, or shall I?” as a giggling Rochelle asked: “Oh, is that me?”

Verifying that she wasn’t a complete newbie, Phil asked the songstress: “You have done this before, haven’t you?”

Rochelle laughed: “I think it’s coming back to me now I’m doing it!”. Phil reminded her that she would be keeping Holly Willoughby’s seat warm for long enough to get back in the swing of things, reassuring her: “Well the good news is you’ll be here for a fortnight!”

“I’ll get used to it!” Rochelle insisted.

It comes as Holly was replaced by Rochelle in the presenting shake-up, as she is off filming BBC series Superstar Survival.

The veteran presenter will join Wim ‘The Iceman’ Hoff and comedian Lee Mack as she hosts the show, which follows a series of celebrities “defeat their demons in sub-zero temperatures”.

Speaking of her new role, Holly gushed: “I can’t wait to team up with Lee and Wim on this show. Lee is a favourite in our house because he’s so hilariously funny and I’ve been a fan of Wim for a long time – he’s a genius who’s incredibly passionate about helping others.

“This show is going to be brilliantly entertaining and you never know… you may find out some things that could help you along the way too!”

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
