This Morning fans crying as boy meets his life-saving donor flown in from Mexico

This Morning fans couldn’t help sobbing when they saw a 10-year-old boy come face to face with the man who saved his life.

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield presented the ITV daytime show on Friday (July 8) as they were about to head off on their summer holiday.

But their last show proved to be quite the emotional affair as young Finley Hill and his family were surprised by the 10-year-old’s life-saving donor.

Finley first appeared on This Morning back in 2019 during his family’s search for a stem cell donor to cure his rare immune disease.

Luckily, Finley’s life was saved because of his donor Jose who lives in Brazil, who made it possible for the young lad to get a transplant that November.

Finley’s health has since gone from strength to strength and he appeared on This Morning with his dad and mum Jo, who told viewers how “beautiful man” Jose saved their boy.

Jo shared how grateful she was for Jose’s help and that she had shared WhatsApp messages with him, but admitted it was tough with the language barrier.

She said: “Thank you is never going to be enough. How do you thank the person that has saved your world? So thankfully, he’s sent messages back and he’s the most humble, beautiful man.”

But they were in for quite the surprise as Holly and Phil treated them to a pre-recorded video message from Jose.

The hosts then revealed Jose had been flown over from Brazil to finally meet the family he’s had such a massive impact on.

Phillip said: “Well the thing is, we’ve gone one step further than that and we’ve flown him from Brazil and he’s about to come in through those doors over there.”

One fan on Twitter wrote: “I’m not crying you’re crying #ThisMorning”

A second said: “Sobbing my eyes out #ThisMorning.” whilst another added: “#ThisMorning I am in absolute bits.”

Holly said: “If that doesn’t make you sign up to an organ donation or bone marrow donation this afternoon, then nothing will”
