Tipping Point's Ben Shephard tells off Louise Minchin as he is interrupted on ITV show

Presenter Ben Shephard was forced to remind contestant Louise Minchin to listen to the whole question as she took part in Tipping Point: Lucky Stars.

The former BBC Breakfast host executed a brilliant performance while participating in the popular quizzing show which aired on Sunday.

However, an eager Louise who was keen to answer the questions thrown at her before Ben finished speaking was later given some advice by the host that she certainly took on board.

Fans at home also noticed Louise chiming in too quickly and headed to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One person penned: “Louise buzzed in far too soon klaxon!”

Another said: “Finishes reading the question after the klaxon klaxon!”

But despite her mishap, Louise changed her tactics after Ben’s advice and made sure she didn’t interject another time.

Although she answered several questions correctly, Louise appeared to be fairly behind in numbers compared to her competitors Josh Widdicombe and Michelle Ackley.

But the newsreader had a change of luck when a number of counters dropped from the machine, placing her firmly into the lead.

As Louise took the lead, it was time for Michelle to say her goodbyes.

With the game now in her favour, it looked as though Louise was about to win the show.

However, things took another turn when Josh managed to attain plenty of counters too which saw him sail into the final round.

Despite this, Lousie still managed to walk away with over £2,000 for her charity.

Josh displayed great quizzing knowledge and seemed to not feel the pressure when presenter Ben quizzed him on a variety of subject matters.

Fans at home were also excied for the comedian and headed to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One person wrote: “YESSSSSSSS! Josh wins £20,000.”

A third chimed: “Well done Josh!”
