Hollywood’s Tom Hanks, 66, reportedly banked a massive £36milllion for playing the starring role in the Oscar-winning film Forrest Gump.
Tom is said to have made a fortune following his role as Forrest in the 1994 movie as he negotiated a specific clause in his contract.
The two-time Oscar winner reportedly negotiated to take home the cash earnings based on a portion of box office receipts rather than a flat fee for his acting role.

Although Tom’s official earnings for the movie have never been shared, since the movie’s debut, the star is believed to have walked away with revenues reaching up to £54m.
Tom even bolstered his paycheque as he invested his own funds to keep iconic scenes in the film that Paramount Pictures wasn’t willing to pay for.
Forrest Gump became a blockbuster sensation, and the movie even took home six Oscar wins, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor.
The movie became Paramount’s fastest-grossing film, passing records of £182m.
The role of Forrest places Tom ninth in the Top 20 highest paid movie roles of all time.
It comes after the leading Hollywood actor said he’s only made four good movies in his 45-year career.
The 66-year-old actor commented in a recent interview that only a handful of his movies are “pretty good”.
Speaking with People Magazine, the actor said: “No one knows how a movie is made, though everyone thinks they do.
“I’ve made a ton of movies and four of them are pretty good, I think, and I’m still amazed at how films come together.
“From a flicker of an idea to the flickering image onscreen, the whole process is a miracle.”
Which four films he was referring to remains a mystery, but Hanks did give a clue in an interview last year.
He listed 1992′s A League of Their Own, 2000′s Castaway and 2012′s Cloud Atlas as the three best experiences he had making movies.
According to the star, the “crappiest” film he ever made was The Bonfire of the Vanities.
