Hollywood actor Tom Hanks raged at a fan to “back the f**k up” after they almost knocked over his wife Rita Wilson.
The 65-year-old was leaving a restaurant with his partner in New York when a gathering of rowdy fans started to form.
Movie lovers were trying to get a snap of the star as they made their way to a car last night, although one fan got a little too close to the famous couple and caused Rita to stumble over
Forrest Gump star Tom then raged at the fan as he yelled at him to “back the f**k up”.
Tom continued to rage at the fan as he said: “Knocking over my wife?!”
Some of the people at the scene tried to apologise to the star for what had just happened as a few shouted back: “Sorry about that Tom!”
But Tom ignored one fan as he got into the car when they asked what he was doing out in New York with Rita.
Before the commotion occurred, the Saving Private Ryan actor was enjoying a meal with his wife.
The outing comes after the Hollywood actor sparked health concerns with his fans recently.
While he was discussing his latest film, Elvis, his hands were spotted shaking while holding a microphone.
Promoting the Baz Luhrmann movie in Sydney last week, the actor addressed the audience on stage as he clutched the microphone with his right hand.
Speaking to the crowd he said: “There is no better place in the world to make a motion picture than right here on the Gold Coast.
“I’ve shot films in Morocco and Los Angeles and New York City and Seattle and in Berlin.
“None of them have what the Gold Coast have, and what is that? Two words. None of those other cities have Dan Murphy,” referencing the chain of liquor stores.
Tom attempted to stop his hand shaking at this point by placing his other on top to try and steady it.
However, he ended up switching the hand he was holding the microphone in as he continued: “We had an absolutely magnificent time with you all.
“There is something about the people and the place of the Gold Coast that makes everyone walk around with a confident look on their face. We were a part of that.
“Your confidence, joy and zest for life comes through in our motion picture.”
Elvis will be released in cinemas in the UK on Friday, June 24
