Tom Parker and Kelsey shared plans to have more kids in heartbreaking final interview

The Wanted Singer Tom Parker spoke with his wife Kelsey about having more children in one of their last interviews together.

The couple spoke to OK! about their hopes to extend their little family, of which they have two children.

Tom died of an inoperable brain tumour on March 30 after a battle with brain cancer.

The star was diagnosed in 2020 and was told that he had only 12 months to live, but with Kelsey by his side he surpassed their expectations.

Kelsey told OK!: “Tom keeps saying he’s broody! We don’t know, we can’t say when, but we definitely will have more children.”

Tom then said: “I’d like to have more, but I’d like to get myself into a better health condition.”

At the time the singer seemed optimistic about his health condition and Kelsey admitted that “everything happens for a reason”.

The couple said they were “blessed” to have two children with such a short age gap between them.

Tom and Kelsey, who married in 2018, were excited to become parents for the third time before tragedy struck.

Kelsey confirmed that Tom had passed in an Instagram post addressed to his fans and followers.

Well wishes and tributes flooded the comments of the post, which featured a sweet headshot of Tom.

She said that she was “proud of him for fighting until the end” and that he was the “centre of her world” with an “infectious smile and an energetic presence”.

Kelsey then thanked his fans for the “outpouring of love and support” and urged them to “unite” to make sure that Tom’s light “continues to shine” for his “beautiful children”.

She had previously shared a snap of her husband on stage with his bandmates during their Greatest Hits tour, which closed just weeks before the tragedy.
