The Wanted star Tom Parker’s wife Kelsey broke down in tears as she said her final goodbye to her late husband at St Francis of Assisi church in Orpington, Kent.
She was seen following his horse drawn hearse as it took the late singer’s coffin through the streets as fans lined up to pay their respects to the late singer.
Kelsey was surrounded by friends and family as she laid Tom to rest, following his death on March 30.
Tom was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour two years ago but vowed to fight it and was performing won stage with The Wanted just days before his tragic death.
The Wanted star Max George arrived along with bandmate Siva Kaneswaran before the late singer’s service.
Flowers spelling out the word “Daddy” were seen across the the side of the carriage while a flowered sign that spelled the word “Tom” in red roses was attached to the front.
Outside the church, there were also flowers that spelled out the words “Glad You Came”, the title of The Wanted’s 2011 hit that went to number one in multiple countries.
Fans and friends of The Wanted star were all dressed in black, while several couldn’t hold back the tears as the black coffin covered with lilies on the top, arrived at the church.
Kelsey welcomed Tom’s fans to his funeral and has created a fundraising page to “Keep Tom’s memory alive forever” via donations to charitable causes as opposed to sending flowers and cards.
Three weeks after Tom’s heartbreaking death, Kelsey’s GoFundMe page has raised a phenomenal £58,000.
Family and close friends of the star gathered in The Sovereign Of The Seas pub opposite the funeral parlour before the procession began, while hundreds of fans clapped as Tom’s family walked behind the carriage to the church.
Kelsey announced on April 12 that there would be a private celebration of Tom’s life today.
She wrote on her Instagram page: “We know many of you would like to pay your respects as well, so would love for you to join us in Petts Wood from 10am.
It would be beautiful to have everyone line the route as we head to our private service.
You are then welcome to join us outside the church for the duration where the service will be relayed on screens.”
