Vicky Pattison details 'debilitating' PMS symptoms that left her 'wanting to sob'

Geordie Shore lass Vicky Pattison has detailed the ‘debilitating’ PMS symptoms that left her ‘wanting to sob’

Taking to Instagram to share a moving post with fans, Vicky shared a raw set of photos complete with a lengthy caption.

Posting a photo of her wearing a glam outfit while out for dinner, Vicky also posted a snap of her bloated belly that same night.

The TV personality detailed that her periods are “a bit all over the place” after getting her implant taken out, while explaining how her most recent visit from Mother Nature left her taken by surprise.

She said: “The last couple days I’ve felt exhausted, tearful, ravenous & skittish – loud noises literally have me jumping across the room.”

“But as far as PMS symptoms go, for me these were all super tame. So you can imagine my surprise when last night literally halfway through courses I was just hit with the worst cramps ever, a belly that could have seen me pass for 6 months preggo & the burning desire to sob.”

She continued: “I made it through the meal, not without whinging me tits off however (hello, I’m Vicky Pattison- have we met?) & my saviour came in the form of my Uber driver who had water & paracetamol for me on the journey home so luckily my the time we were home, the pain was beginning to subside slightly.”

Vicky then explained that she feels as though her body is “beginning to right itself” without the synthetic hormones coursing through her body, and that her PMS is no longer as debilitating as it once was.

She said that her body has taken a “step in the right direction” and has proved that she was right to give her body a break from contraception.

Vicky then dropped a bombshell: “However there is the other side of that coin – my periods themselves are more painful than ever- which I now know is of course because of the cysts on my ovaries.

“Apparently there are certain kinds of hormone free contraceptions which will be able to help ease the pain slightly- & as they’re hormone free they’re less likely to alter my emotional state so that may be my next step.”

One fan commented: “These are the posts and pictures that I really appreciate. You are under a spotlight constantly but you remind everyone you are human just like the next woman/person.”

Fans have been sending well wishes to the Geordie Shore lass

Another fan said: “Love that you are so real and talk openly about your periods and how your suffer. Let’s normalise periods being a pain in the bloody a**! Mine have me bed bound sometimes! But it’s ‘normal’ apparently! Keep being you.”

While a third penned: “All the feels girl. I freaking love you, sending warm teddy blankets and fresh baked bread.”

And a fourth said: “I love how forward you are! Everyone should be like you rather than brushing it under the carpet.”
