Vicky Pattison has confessed that she “hated” herself after being crowned the winner of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.
The former Geordie Shore star, 34, wasn’t happy with the person she’d turned into and found herself knocking back ten drinks per day.
Having hit the booze hard after she’d taken the title of Queen of the Jungle in 2015, she decided to turn her life around.
The reality star had become determined that she wouldn’t end up battling an alcohol problem like her dad John, 62.
Vowing to take a different trajectory, Vicky explained that she wanted a different outcome for herself – one that involved a stable marriage and a good relationship with her future offspring.
Speaking about the self-sabotaging time after the ITV win, she confessed to The Sun: “I can have a couple of glasses of wine and be the life and soul of the party but if I fall over there is no off switch.”
She added: “I want more out of life than what my dad has had; a happy marriage, a good relationship with my kids, I want to be successful.
“I hated myself back then. I work very hard to not become that person.”
After leaving behind her wild party days following her exit from Geordie Shore, Vicky seemingly began to carve out a new healthier lifestyle, however she struggled after her I’m a Celebrity win.
But she managed to turn her life around.
Recently, Vicky took to Instagram to celebrate her three-year anniversary with her boyfriend Ercan Ramadan.
The pair have gone from strength-to-strength, with Vicky praising her beau for “putting up with her monthly mood swings” on a frequent basis.
Vicky and Ercan took their relationship to the next level last year when the pair purchased their “dream home” together and adopted a rescue dog called Milo.
Back in May, the TV star took to social media to announce the happy news that she and Ercan were about to become dog parents.
Sharing an adorable snap of the golden haired pup, she penned: “So I think I may have mentioned before that I want a dog?
“I mean just once of twice. Anyway, I’m so happy to be able to tell you guys that my dream is coming true and I’m going to be a “doggie mam!!”
