A Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? show secret has been exposed by a contestant who found her game cut-short by the dreaded buzzer.
Player Maria King was doing well on the show, managing to get to the £4,000 stage without using any of her four available lifelines.
But the klaxon sounded, meaning her game would continue in the next episode.

Host Jeremy Clarkson asked her: “Ah, well you know what that means?”
And Maria, who was wearing a fun leopard print top for her game, said: “I have to go and get changed.”
Jeremy laughed, as did the audience, and Maria covered her mouth and said: “I’m not supposed to say that, am I?”
The Grand Tour star Jeremy joked: “That’s exactly what it means, because that’s absolutely right.”
Revealing exactly how the episodes are filmed, he went on: “I will be seeing you in about an hour’s time but for as far as the viewers are concerned you are going home, you are going to be panicking, ‘Oh no’ and then we will see you next week.”
He added: “So you are absolutely right, that is the end of the show, you do have to go and get changed, and Maria will be back next week, it says on the autocue, to see if she can get further than – where are you? – £4,000.”
The episode had seen a strong star, with contestant Natalie Shaw taking home a respectable £64,000 after continuing her game from the previous episode.
However unlucky player John McKenna went home with nothing – becoming only the second person since Jeremy took over as host to leave the show with no prize.
He answered a question incorrectly after using his Ask The Audience lifeline and siding with what the crowd had picked.
Then another player left with just £1,000 after getting a question wrong, losing a whopping £63,000 in the process.
He had again sided with the audience, however still had his three other lifelines available to use.
