X Factor star Janet Devlin to spill all in Daily Star Facebook chat 11 years since show

X Factor star Janet Devlin is set to spill all during a Daily Star Facebook Live.

On Monday, April 11, she will be chatting to showbiz reporter Carly Hacon about everything she’s been up to since starring in the ITV show 11 years on.

Janet, who starred on the programme back in 2011, will be taking part in the Facebook Live event which will take place on Monday at 3:30pm – which readers can watch for free, here.

The singer will be sharing her show experience with Daily Star readers and discuss whether the programme needs to make a TV return.

She often shares throwback thoughts from her X Factor days with her fans

Janet came fifth in the singing show competition and rose to showbiz stardom after winning viewers around with her endearing personality.

The 27-year-old star will reveal whether she’s stayed in touch with any of her co-stars and discuss what she’s been up to since being booted off the programme.

Nowadays, Janet is a far cry from the barefooted 16-year-old with big curly red hair and is now a confident blonde singer/songwriter.

Since appearing on the programme, not only does Janet look completely different but she feels it too after going on a journey within herself.

Since leaving X Factor, she has launched her successful solo singing career, toured the UK, become a popular TikTok sensation, and even become an author of her own book, My Confessional.

In recent years, she has also become a mental health advocate and TikTok favourite thanks to her tell-all content.

Reflecting on the 10-year anniversary of her X Factor appearance, Janet told her followers: “Today marks 10 years since my life changed. It was the day my audition track aired on national television.

“I could never anticipate how different my life was going to be from that moment on.

“I’m grateful for the experience. To get into the industry so young meant I could make mistakes with teenage naivety and the gusto to keep going. Some days were hard.

“Sometimes I couldn’t walk down the street without someone hurtling a nasty comment my way. Which I won’t lie, was incredibly difficult to process as a child.”

There will be a chance for readers to ask Janet questions of their own which will be put to her by Carly in Convo host Carly Hacon.

Tune in to the Facebook Live interview with Janet on the Daily Star Facebook page on Monday, April 11 at 3:30pm.
