Tupac Shakur died 27 years ago in a drive-by shooting while he was waiting at a red light in Nevada, close to Las Vegas.
Four bullets were shot from a .40 calibre Glock; two hit the star in the chest, one in the arm and one in the thigh. Six days later, the star died in hospital from his injuries, and his murder went unsolved.
He was 25 years old.

Today, Tupac would be 52 years old, and artificial intelligence has finally revealed just what he would look like if he had survived that fateful shooting.
In one snap created by Midjourney AI, the star can be seen with a greying goatee, his head wrapped in a brown suede scarf as he peers into the camera.
Crows feet have gathered at his eyes and his cheeks have begun to sag a little.
Another snap showed Tupac with wide brown eyes under a flat cap, with his salt-and-pepper beard trimmed a little closer to his jawline.
Yet more pictures show him bald, with his face a little more filled out, once again using a scarf to cover the top of his head.
It’s a tragic glimpse into a future that couldn’t be – but some fans argue is currently happening.
Since his brutal murder, numerous conspiracies have refused to die down, with many claiming that Tupac is actually still alive.
Sightings of the rapper have plagued headlines for decades, with many conspiracy theorists claiming he faked his death way back when.
Suge Knight Jr has claimed Tupac is alive and living in Malaysia, releasing snaps of a man he claims to be the megastar. He argued Tupac wanted to hide from the spotlight and from his rivals after his high-profile feuds.
Videos of the star apparently hanging out in Cuba surfaced online, with a man who bore a striking resemblance to the star sending fans wild.
Even TMZ claimed Tupac was alive in 2009, reporting: “A man appearing to be 2pac was spotted in a bar on Bourbon Street last weekend.”
One conspiracy theorist claims the final photo ever taken of the rapper holds vital clues to whether he is really dead or not. Gio Gennero, writing for Baylor Lariat, claimed: “Despite being moments before the incident, there are seemingly no keys in the ignition, even though the two were supposedly at a stop light.

“The date is also in the picture, but it is dated Sept. 8, 1996, and Tupac was shot and admitted to the hospital on Sept. 7.”
The article adds that the coroner’s report into Tupac’s death lists him at 50 pounds heavier than he weighed at the time – and nobody has been able to find the man responsible for Tupac’s cremation.
