Alison Hammond has landed herself an unlikely new job away from her This Morning hosting role.
The TV legend was nowhere near the This Morning studios when she clocked in for her first day at Paddington Station.
Alison announced she was the new chief ticket inspector for Virgin Trains and was “loving it” as she urged fans to “come down” and join her.

The Big Brother star was at the station in connection with Virgin Trains Ticketing for the day and was also handing out Virgin Points to lucky customers.
She tweeted: “I’m dressed like this, I am absolutely loving it.
“I am the Chief Points Inspector today here at Paddington. It is absolutely amazing.
“See you there. I am at Paddington all day long – but only for today and today only. I am inspiring everybody to use the Virgin Trains ticketing app.”
Meanwhile Virgin tweeted: “We’ve got #VirginPoints to give out tomorrow (15 June) at London Paddington Station…
“But who will be giving them out? Come and see us tomorrow morning.”
Alison, 48, can normally be seen on This Morning with cohost Dermot O’Leary every Friday but since the Phillip Schofield scandal hit, has been filling in.
She is also in the running to replace the disgraced presenter and join Holly Willoughby full-time on the famous couch.
Last week an emotional Alison broke down live on air as she discussed the Schofield saga.
She said: “I was finding it really painful because obviously, you know, I loved Phillip Schofield, and it’s weird because I still love Phillip Schofield.
‘”However what he’s done is wrong, he’s admitted it, he’s said sorry. But as a family we’re all really struggling to process everything. I never know what to say.”
The former This Morning star quit ITV after it emerged he lied about having an affair with a younger, male colleague while he was still married to his wife.
