Antiques Roadshow is often full of weird wonderful finds that can be worth a small fortune without the owner realising.
On Sunday’s (October 8) episode one woman shocked fans as she brought along all the treasures that she has found from rummaging in car boot sales. The guest shared her story behind her items and explained: “Someone had just put it down, the sun was shining and it just came at me.”

The first in the collection was a bracelet that featured a 22-carat golden chain and green stones, which later proved to be emeralds, and was brought for just three pounds fifty. The second item was a brooch in 18-carat gold that the guest only paid two pounds for.
The next was a flower brooch with three diamonds surrounded by 18-carat gold. Her fourth item was a flower brooch that was slightly broken and the guest paid one pound for it. Her final item was another golden brooch that was not from a car boot but was still a bargain as she paid one pound fifty for it.
Expert Joanna Hardy then revealed the jaw-dropping news that each of the items was worth a lot of money with the broken flower brooch being valued at a whopping 3 to 4 grand due to “each of the petals being beautiful set sapphires with diamonds around each of the flower heads.”
The guest couldn’t contain her shock as Joanna laughed and claimed that she had “quite frankly done extremely well as the guest said: “good grief.” Fans instantly rushed to X, formerly known as Twitter to comment on the guest’s wonderful finds claiming that they need to “go shopping with her.”
One person said. “This woman with her car boot finds, I need to start going with her…” Another penned: “I need to go shopping with this lady.”
