Ariana Grande has recently admitted that she has previously “hidden” behind lip filler and Botox.
The singer recorded a video for Vogue’s Beauty Secrets on YouTube and opened up about the procedures she has been through.
While applying her skincare and makeup, Grande got personal and “transparent” with her fans.

She began: “Full transparency, as a beauty person, as I do my lips, [I’ve] had a ton of lip filler over the years, and Botox. I stopped in 2018 because I just felt so…[it was] too much. I just felt like hiding, you know.”
Ariana clearly grew emotional talking about her personal struggles and the God Is A Woman singer’s eyes glazed over.
She powered through and continued: “I didn’t expect to get emotional. For a long time, beauty was about hiding for me. Now I feel like maybe it’s not, since I stopped getting fillers and Botox.”
The actress, who is set to star in the new adaptation of Wicked, admitted to using makeup to “hide” alongside her procedures.
Ariana claimed it became a way to “disguise” herself and “something to hide behind,” using “more and more hair” and “thicker” eyeliner.
Grande added: “I think as I get older, I don’t love that being the intention behind it anymore. I think of it as self-expression now, accentuating what is [already] here.”
“Our relationships to beauty are so personal, like, we’re here talking about beauty secrets. Isn’t the secret that we all just want to feel our best and be loved?”
However, Ariana didn’t rule out the decision to get Botox or lip fillers in the future as she commented that “one day” she might consider it.
The singer, who rose to fame on the Nickelodeon show Victorious, urged fans to “do whatever makes them feel beautiful”.
Grande noted that her smile lines were “well earned” and that she “hopes they get deeper and deeper the more she laughs”.
Ariana also touched upon a potential facelift in the coming years.
“Now, might I get a facelift in 10 years? Might, yeah, but these are just thoughts that I feel like we should be able to discuss.”
