Arnold Schwarzenegger has revealed his biggest pay day in history – and it wasn’t for his role in The Terminator franchise.
The muscle-clad Hollywood star made his name as an action man over the last four decades.
But Arnie, 75, revealed he made a whopping $30 million (£24m) for playing chilling villain Mr Freeze in 1997’s Batman and Robin.

Thanks to a string of corny catchphrases like “allow me to break the ice”, and “cool party” – the Austrian Oak claimed to become the “highest-paid” Hollywood star in history.
He told The Hollywood Reporter: “It was Batman & Robin where they gave me over $30 million. I became the highest-paid entertainer in the history of Hollywood.”
Joel Schumacher’s superhero flop saw George Clooney’s Batman and Chris O’Donnell’s Robin try and keep their fragile relationship together as Mr Freeze wreaked havoc in Gotham City.

Tom Cruise, Kevin Costner and Julia Roberts were also alleged to have earned more than $20 million (£16m) per movie too.
And Arnie has reportedly amassed a staggering net worth of $450m thanks to his decades in the spotlight.
After a successful career as a bodybuilder – taking home seven Mr Olympia trophies – between 1970 and 1980, he swapped dumbbells for the camera.
Arnold played a lead role in a number of Hollywood smash-hits – from the evil cyborg in 1984’s The Terminator, to Danny Devito’s burly brother in 1988 comedy Twins.
And the polymath didn’t just have a Greek God-like physique and a knack for entertaining – he could also turn his hands to politics.
The Total Recall star was the 38th Governor of California serving back-to-back terms from November 2003 to January 2011.
