Ava Max was brutally attacked on stage while performing to a crowd and was left with an eye injury.
Max had almost finished her set when a trespasser made their way onto the stage and lunged for Ava’s face.
The assault was captured on video and showed the singer performing her final number, twirling and dancing to the music, as a man in a black t-shirt reached out his hand and appeared to slap her in the face.

He was detained by a security guard and taken off stage as Ava bravely finished her routine, gave one final spin and thanked the crowd as though nothing had happened.
On stage, Ava maintained her composure as she ran off but later on the pop star sent out a furious statement on Twitter.
In the tweet, a clearly upset Ava wrote: “He slapped me so hard that he scratched the inside of my eye. He’s never coming to a show again [two angry face emojis]. Thank you to the fans for being spectacular tonight in [Los Angeles] though! [red heart emoji].”
Fans were equally as angry with the attack and flocked to share their thoughts with the pop star.
Many replied to Ava Max’s original tweet and slammed the gate crasher for their horrific actions.
One wrote: “So sorry to hear this happened Ava. I hope you’re ok,” with a love heart emoji.
Another simply said: “Put him in jail.”
A fan who attended the concert claimed: “I was there tonight. The guy rushed on stage at the end, right when the last song ended. The security guard tackled him and literally threw him down the stairs. Wild! It happened so fast. You can see here, she couldn’t even open her eyes but she still did a [meet and greet]. [I love you so much] [happy emoji and praying emoji].”
The fan attached a picture of himself sitting beside Ava as she posed after her concert.
She was wearing large black sunglasses to cover her face and barely smiled as she placed her hands on her knees and bravely maintained her composure.
