BBC Breakfast viewers were left fuming at their TV screens over the show’s major recent change.
The hit morning programme returned for another instalment on Saturday (July 1) with Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty back at the helm.
But it seems the show appeared to rub viewers up the wrong way due to one of its new changes.

This week, the show underwent a makeover with a brand new “multi-purpose” studio – which will also be shared with BBC Sport.
Another change is that the presenters will now sometimes be delivering the news while standing up – instead of sitting on the famous red sofa.
But the move hasn’t gone down well with the show’s loyal legion of viewers, who rushed to Twitter to share their thoughts.
“Really don’t like the move to a solo standing presenter on @BBCBreakfast. No matter how cool Charlie’s glasses look I miss the sofa chemistry,” said one person.
Another fumed: “What’s the point of Charlie standing up by a screen to talk to a journalist? It’s a rather pointless presentation style that adds nothing to the news.”
A third chimed in and said: “This #BBCBreakfast triptych where they stand is horrendous. A shot of the interior of the newsroom, then a panel illustrating the story then a panel with an external shot from somewhere – what on earth were they thinking?? It’s truly awful – and the colour scheme?? @BBCBreakfast.”
The fancy new set is larger than the old studio and features three more cameras and some of the latest broadcasting technology available, including high-tech GFX.
But despite its revamped appearance, it’s not moving from its home in Salford’s Media City, so the hosts won’t have to change their commute when they host the first show in the brand new studio on Monday.
BBC Breakfast Editor Richard Frediani said of the makeover: “After celebrating 10 years in Salford and 40 years on BBC One it was time for a new look and studio for the UK’s most watched morning show.
Breakfast is how millions of Britons start their day, and I hope they’ll enjoy seeing their favourite presenters in a bright, modern space.”
Show regular Sally Nugent said: “The new studio is a wonderful addition to BBC Breakfast, and I can’t wait to host the first live morning show on the 26th June. We have recently celebrated our 40th anniversary and this is a great gift to mark the occasion.
