BBC Saturday Kitchen Live star Matt Tebbutt told BBC Breakfast presenters Naga Munchetty and Ben Thompson he was “already exhausted” after returning to screens this weekend.
The presenter was forced to miss the show last week after being rushed to hospital for surgery, as he gave his followers an update into his sudden health woes.
After introducing his guests for the day to Naga and Ben, including comedian Lenny Henry and Bake Off winner Nadia Hussein, the segment ended up taking a long time as the guests all started chatting.

Matt turned back to the link and said: “Excellent, I’m exhausted, we’ll see you at ten,” as Ben told him he was “exhausted just watching”.
Naga chimed in: “I think Matt has got a big job on his hands, have some water now because later I think you’ll need something a bit stronger.”
Matt pretended to collapse back onto his chair out of exhaustion as he replied: “It is going to be a long morning, 90 minutes of fun,” while his guests laughed in the background.
Matt had told his fans the news by sharing a picture of himself sitting in a hospital bed surrounded by medical equipment, as he posed for the snap behind a blue face mask.
He captioned the snap: “Me, a morphine drip and an emergency appendectomy are keeping me from a much anticipated lunch at @manteca_london.
“But everything and everyone here at The Grange hospital in Gwent have been fantastic. Couldn’t ask for more from such a brilliant health service. So grateful. # nhs #nhsnurse #thegrangehospital #appendectomy.”
Saturday Kitchen Live airs Saturdays at 10am on BBC1.
