The annual event kicked off on Thursday (June 8) and is set to rock out until Sunday (June 11) for a whirlwind four-day event.

And it appears as though the fans are already getting into the festive spirit after one wild festival-goer derailed the present when broadcaster Hannah reported live from the festival.

As she walked amongst the tents of sleeping attendees, Hannah said: “Metallica were performing really, really late into the night, only just going to bed for some people.

“There are a few early rises coming around” she said confidently, as one man quickly walked into the shot.

He shouted: “I love my prescription speed provided by the NHS” as crew members rushed him out of shot while Hannah continued on with her report.

The newsreader profusely apologised to viewers on the breakfast programme as she swiftly wrapped up the programme before she threw the show back to Naga and Charlie in the studio.

It comes after Naga Munchetty cheekily branded her co-star Carol Kirkwood a “monster” live on air.

During Thursday’s show (June 8), Charlie and Naga discussed the 90th anniversary of the first sighting of the Lock Ness monster.

The Scottish broadcaster revealed another monster in the Scottish highlands called Morag, as Naga asked: “Is it’s middle name Carol?”
