BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty was left fuming with her co-host Charlie Stayt after he failed to make her a paper rose.
The 48-year-old returned to screens on Friday morning after she was missing in action for almost three weeks.
But although things appeared pleasant at first on the popular morning show, the atmosphere soon turned frosty when Naga was made aware that Charlie had rolled a paper rose and never gave her one.

Talking to Helen Skelton and Sara Davies in the Morning Live studio about the crafty paper creation for Mother’s Day, Helen said: “Charlie and Naga love a bit of crafting, Charlie always rolling paper roses you know.
Sara replied: “You have to keep watching guys, see you at 9:15.”
Chiming in abruptly, Naga said: “I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Charlie when did you roll Helen a paper rose?”
Charlie replied: “You see the thing is when you say things like that Helen, people actually believe you. You know that’s a problem.”
Chiming in again, Naga asked: “Helen, when did you get a paper rose from Charlie?”
Helen replied sarcastically: “Oh I get it Charlie, keep it between us, I got it.”
Charlie replied: “It’s just got worse, it’s actually just got worse hasn’t it!”
But although Helen and Sara found it hilarious, back in the BBC Breakfast studio things appeared rather uncomfortable as Naga could be seen giving her co-host Charlie a stern look.
The frosty atmosphere was also picked up by viewers at home, with one spectator taking to Twitter to write: “Is Naga actually vex about not being privy to the paper rose?”
The news comes after fans demanded BBC Breakfast tell viewers were Naga was during her three weeks absence.
The broadcaster left a number of avid viewers concerned after she was replaced on the popular morning show and was absent from her BBC radio programme.
Heading over to Twitter, one viewer chimed: “@BBCBreakfast Can anyone tell me what’s happened to Naga Munchetty?”
While another fan wrote: “@TVNaga01 Where are you hiding Naga? It’s Thursday – why aren’t you on @bbcbreakfast sofa – surely there’s too much snow at the golf course for you?”
