Strictly Come Dancing fans have predicted that two professionals will exit the BBC show after this series.
Viewers have grown confident that favourites Gorka Marquez and Karen Hauer will hang up their dancing shoes and leave the BBC ballroom. It comes during a whirlwind of exit drama as contestant Amanda Abbington exited the show on Monday (October 23).
Flocking to Reddit, fans discussed which pros they thought might depart the show after this series. And it seems they think Karen and Gorka have their eyes on the door and have shown signs they’re not as into it as they used to be.

One fan asked: “Any professionals to leave after this season?”. A reply with 79 up-votes from one wrote: “As much as I hate to say it, Gorka has seemed mentally on his way out for a few series”.

Another suggested that Gorka might leave due to his family commitments. They said: “I reckon Gorka is going to leave either this season or next season. Now hes got 2 kids at home as well as the dogs and Gemma, I know I would feel awful leaving 2 little ones and a partner at home for weeks on end.”
Gorka shares his two young children Mia and Thiago with Hollyoaks actress Gemma Atkinson, whom he met in 2017. The pair announced their engagement in February 2021 and some fans reckon they’ve secretly tied the knot already.

A third wrote: “I could see Karen and Gorka leaving. Their attitude this season has been off.” A post with 107 up-votes simply read: “Predicting Karen.”
Another said: “Karen has also been on the show for over 10 years and hasn’t had too much success with her partners recently (Greg [Wise], Jayde [Adams] and now Eddie [Kadi] have all left before Halloween) and I doubt she’s going to do another season.”

A sixth reckoned Karen could become an It Takes Two host, writing: “Karen, I think her time is up but would love to see her as an ITT host!”. Gorka was paired with Nikita Kanda, while Karen was paired with just-axed Eddie Kadi.
Gorka joined Strictly in 2016, whereas Karen is the longest-serving pro having been on the show since 2012.
