Big Brother’s Matty exposes ‘unfair’ aspect of ‘messy’ Henry and Jordan love triangle

Big Brother’s Matty Simpson has cleared the air about the “messy” love triangle between him and fellow housemates Jordan Sangha and Henry Southan.

Over the past six weeks, fans have been gripped to their screens as the trio navigated their feelings for one another in the famous ITV house. At the start of the series, the 24-year-old doctor exchanged flirty bander with Jordan.

But it didn’t take long before the 26-year-old lawyer caught Henry’s eye. As the series went along, Matty found himself caught between the two until the 25-year-old food critic revealed he had romantic feelings for Jordan.

It was at this point that the self-proclaimed hippy put an end to his flirtatious behaviour with Jordan. After becoming the 11th housemate to be evicted from the house, the TV star has finally spoken out about the whole situation – and it’s fair to say he didn’t hold back.

Speaking to Daily Star and other press, the hunk explained how he believes Jordan was interested in him throughout the entire series. He argued: “I think Jordan did like me throughout the process and I think that Henry likes Jordan.

“When I put up my firm boundaries that we can’t even be friends anymore, I think he was able to put his attention more on Henry. From day one they have been super close friends.”

It was at this point that Matty confessed that Jordan is not interested in Henry romantically at all, and merely sees them as “platonic friends who kiss”. The medic continued: “I also believe that Henry really likes Jordan in a romantic way.

“Jordan doesn’t like Henry in a romantic way, but he enjoys kissing him when he’s had a glass of wine. Jordan’s honest and upfront about that, he’s saying we’re just platonic friends who kiss.”

“I know that is in one sense a little bit confusing but he’s saying it and being honest. Maybe Henry is expecting there to be a little bit more, but I feel like Jordan is being honest about that.”

Matty confessed that it isn’t fair of Jordan to continue flirting with Henry when he isn’t interested in pursuing the relationship past a friendship level. The TV personality added: “He just wants friendship from Henry, and he wants a little kiss after he’s had a glass of wine.

“It maybe isn’t the fairest thing to do to someone who does have romantic feelings towards you. But Jordan’s been honest.”

Matty later confessed that he couldn’t see a future for the pair as romantic partners when they leave the Big Brother house on Friday (November 17). He suggested: “I think they will have a long-term friendship.

“I think they’re destined to be friends and I think they’ll be in each other’s lives for a very long time. But that house is a pressure cooker of emotion.

“So it’s very hard to say what will flourish. I think we’ll just have to wait and see but I think they’ll definitely stay friends.” Fans will have to stay tuned to see which of the final five contestants will win the show and take home the £100,000 jackpot.

The Big Brother final airs on Friday (November 17) on ITV2 at 9pm or catch up on ITVX.
