Bradley Walsh got more than he bargained for on The Chase this afternoon.
He took to the airwaves to present Tuesday’s edition (22nd August) of the long-running ITV game-show alongside The Sinhaman, Paul Sinah.
Communications manager James, 37 from Birmingham, Bartender Gareth, 41, from Gwent and 27-year-old nursing student Beth from Nottingham all tried to win the jackpot prize.

However, it was 55-year-old civil servant Adebola who left the studio howling with laughter as she opened up about her personal life.
When asked what she liked to do in her spare time, she initially had Bradley interested when she said she was a keen follower of the British Royal Family.
She admitted that her mother told her the story of the abdication and she thought it was the “sweetest thing,” that Edward VIII followed the love of his life.
However she had the whole studio in hysterics when she started to tell the story about her husband and why she wanted to win the money.
“I want to concentrate on my writing to see how far I could go, but if not, we need a new sofa in the family,” Adebola declared.
“I told my husband but he doesn’t think we need one after 20 years, so it would be lovely to have some money to spend on a new sofa for the family.”
Bradley burst out laughing as he joked: “I love it, I’m gonna write my story and get it published. If not, we need a new sofa!”
“I love that, absolutely love it. What’s your husbands name?”, the host then asked.
When she revealed that his name was ‘Del Boy’, Bradley inexplicably bust out laughing as he was left leaning off his lectern and near the floor as he was caught in a laughing fit.
He was forced to compose himself by clapping his hands together before resuming the show and deliver his questioning to the aspiring quizzer.
Looking to the camera, Bradley then exclaimed: “He reckons you don’t need a new sofa, Del Boy come on!”.
In the end, Adebola chose the low offer from The Chaser which took £1,000 off the total prize, but left her a step closer to going through.
However she still made it through her cash-builder round to the final Chase along with Gareth and James with a £10,000 prize pot.
They answered a whopping 16 questions correctly to put their steps up to 19 in the final face-off round to which Paul praised as “outstanding”.
However, the Chaser unfortunately won with nine seconds remaining even though the team successfully executed a pushback.
