Netflix series Bridgerton has sent viewers into a frenzy after a particularly outrageous sex scene on the new spin off Queen Charlotte.
The prequel is set before the two original series in the Regency era, and follows Queen Charlotte and her confidante Lady Agatha Danbury as they navigate societal rules and their marriages.
The story shows a younger version of Queen Charlotte as she enters into an arranged marriage with King George.

But one of the biggest talking points of the show came in episode three when the young Lady Danbury was in the bedroom with her husband.
A sex scene between Lord and Lady Danbury begins, with the Lord having the time of his life while his wife looks bored and uncomfortable.
He is seen doing the deed from behind, so she can’t see him, and mid romp he suddenly stops, leaving Lady Danbury stunned.
She asks: “My Lord? My Lord, have you … finished?”
A loud thud sound can be heard, and Agatha suddenly turns around and sees her husband has keeled over mid sex session.
One shocked fan said: “also shonda should’ve put a tw at that danbury sex scene. lord danbury was an insane jumpscare. christ.”
Another agreed: “That was so unnecessary. really shook my spirit.”
A third chipped in: “Lord Danbury dying while having sex is wild to me…”
Meanwhile, the two leading stars of the show revealed that there was one sex scene that was so taboo it didn’t make the final cut.
Speaking to press ahead of the show’s release on Netflix, Corey Mylchreest and India Amarteifio joked they were still haunted by the kinky scenes.
As the pair start off their marriage at odds but passionately making love, the actors revealed there was one scene where they begin romping in the dining room in front of their staff.
Mylchreest said: “There’s a sequence with some grapes that didn’t quite make —” as Amarteifio added the scene didn’t make the cut.
“We haven’t spoken about the grapes in about nine months.”
He continued: “So Tom has brilliant ideas and will just have an image of something and go for it.
“And I think the grapes was probably the one time in six months of shooting that didn’t work out. It was a slow motion [chuckles] sequence that was squashing of grapes on face.”
