Budding chef Brooklyn Beckham has spoken out about the hate that he receives for his online cooking video and said that it “doesn’t really bother him.”
The eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham has been labelled a “wannabe” chef through the years and constantly posts online videos showing fans how to make his favourite recipes. The star told Insider: “To be honest, I’m used to the hate.”
“It doesn’t really bother me. Cooking makes me happy. I have more important things to worry about than people saying a little bit of rubbish about me.”

The star launched his show Cookin’ With Brooklyn back in December 2021 and has received quite a mixed reaction from his followers. Brooklyn told the outlet: “My message to them is to keep writing whatever they want to write. There are always going to be people out there who try and pull you down.
“I’m doing my thing and working my bum off. So they can keep writing what they want, but it’s not going to bother me — I’m just going to keep doing my thing.”
Brooklyn recently got slammed by fans because he used an entire bottle of avocado oil to cook chicken in one of his videos and he was raking in cash from a brand partnership. He told his fans that he used Chosen Foods oil “for frying because of its high smoke point and neutral flavour.”
He recently used the avocado oil again whilst baking a cake and fans took to the comments section to blast him for his recipe. “That cake looks quite dry to me Brooklyn,” penned one fan.
Another dubbed it a “fail” blasting: “Fail …. How long did he cook it for ?? He never said !” “can we use a different oil instead I’m a bit grossed out by avocado oil for cake tbh.” Other fans loved the recipie with one person commented: “Love your cooking buddy, a lot of people are hating on me but you’re a chef… Brooklyn Beckham cooking up a storm? I wonder if he adds a dash of “Posh” spice to his dishes!… Making that sh*t right now… yes please…”

While a fourth criticized his presenting skills, blasting: “How do you making cooking look so unnatural and awkward.” Brooklyn has also previously come under fire for using expensive ingredients including truffle and a £60 rib of beef.
