Bruce Willis’ daughter Rumer has shared a tear-jerking message alongside a throwback picture with her father.
She took to Instagram and wrote: “Really missing my papa today.” To accompany the message, Rumer added a sweet snap of herself as a baby with Bruce cradling her in his arms.
The Die Hard actor was all smiles as he gazed off into the distance and clutched his daughter in the crook of his elbow. He looked notably tanned as he beamed from ear to ear.

Rumer could be seen wearing a long white dress and a sweet matching headband with a flower on the side. She appeared to be chewing on one of her fingers as the pair shared the sweet bonding moment together.
Fans rushed to share well wishes for Bruce and support for Rumer. One person typed: “I cannot even imagine. My heart [and] prayers go out to you. I’m also sending you a sincere tight hug. Blessings to you.”
Bruce was diagnosed with aphasia back in spring 2022 and it was later revealed that he had been diagnosed with dementia. Specifically, Bruce has frontotemporal dementia, which can affect a person’s behaviour and their overall personality.
His family released a statement to the world about his condition. They said: “Bruce has always found joy in life – and has helped everyone he knows to do the same. It has meant the world to see that sense of care echoed back to him and to all of us.”
Willis’ other daughter Tallulah also shared a sweet sentiment for her father. She included some snaps of them together, including one of her in a pair of overalls while Bruce matched her denim ensemble in jeans.
She wrote: “Damn, these photos are hitting tonight. You’re my whole damn heart and I’m so proud to be your Tallulah Belle Bruce Willis.” His wife Emma has also been vocal about the Hollywood A-lister’s condition and how it has affected her.
In Maria Shriver’s Sunday Paper, she wrote: “When I’m able to get out for a hike to clear my head, it’s not lost on me that not all partners can do that. When what I share about our family’s journey gets press attention, I know that there are many thousands of untold, unheard stories, each of them deserving of compassion and concern.”
