Charlotte Church has had her first ever tattoo at the age of 37 and said it was “life changing”.

The Crazy Chick singer – who has three children – has never been inked before but recently took the plunge.

Charlotte was wearing a pretty orange and white dress and had her wavy hair loose around her shoulders as she smiled at the camera.

“Having my first ever tattoos a couple of weeks ago was an absolutely life changing experience!” wrote the Voice Of An Angel star.

“Shoutout to @aimeecornwelltattoo for her wonderful work,” she added.

Charlotte didn’t say what she was having done and she didn’t share any shots of the finished product.

But the wording of the caption suggested that she may have had more than one.

Fans pleaded with the star to share snaps of her new inking, posting messages in the comments section urging: “Show us!”

“Go girl what did you get?” asked one.

Another of Charlotte’s followers wrote: “No show???”

Many predicted that the singer would now catch the tattoo bug and that she would end up getting more etchings done in the future.

“It’ll be the 1st but not the last,” said one person.

“Once you get one… you can’t stop,” somebody else posted.

“Watch out – they’re soooo addictive!” said someone else.

Tattoo artist Aimee also shared the photo, saying that she loved “working with and hanging out with” the singer.

“The most inspiring woman I’ve met in a long time,” she said.
