“If anything, I really did not expect it,” she gushed. “Jake is just the most romantic person in the world.

“When you think about it when it’s over and done with, when you see that person ask to marry you, you could be anywhere in the world and actually it would be so special.” It was at this point that the TV star confessed that the pair wouldn’t be tying the knot any time soon for one special reason.

She went on: “Me and Jake are currently trying to have a baby. We’re not planning a wedding any time soon because I really want to have another baby before the wedding.”

Spilling more wedding plans, she added: “I do know that it will be, well I say small but then I’ll end up getting carried away, but I want it to be small and intimate. I want to feel connected to everyone.

“I don’t want it to just be a big room full of people that I’ve only known for a couple of months. Holly and Sophie are like my sister, I think they will definitely be bridesmaids.”

Charlotte went on to reveal what role her children would have in the wedding party, adding: “Alba, she’d be a flower girl and then obviously I’ll have another baby fingers crossed.

“I think they might be about Alba’s age now so maybe I’d have two flower girls if I have two girls.” Another romantic gesture the reality star has planned for the big day includes performing a special song for her fiancée on stage.

She added: “I’m definitely singing at my wedding though for Jake, 100 per cent. But I can’t give it away.” It comes after the brunette beauty competed on The Masked Singer Australian under the guise of space fairy.

Fans will have to stay tuned to see how Jake pops the question to Charlotte in her new series of Charlotte in Sunderland.

Charlotte in Sunderland will return to BBC Three at 9pm on Wednesday 8thNovember. It will also be available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
