Christine McGuinness admits she gets flirty DMs from celebrities but is in 'no rush'

Christine McGuinness has admitted she is “open” to dating – but is in no “big rush” to jump into a new relationship following her split from hubby Paddy last year.

The TV personality, 34, said she has has received flirty messages from unnamed celebrities on her DMs, but that she has not been interested in pursuing matters further.

Christine and Paddy announced last year they had parted company after 11 years of marriage, and said of the mystery stars who had contacted her: “They kinda drop in like: ‘Hey, do you wanna go out?'”

She told The Sun: “I don’t reply, I’m not interested – I’m not there for that, and if you’re messaging me through Instagram, that’s not how I wanna meet somebody.”

The former Real Housewives of Cheshire star added: ‘I’m open to it this year, but I’ve got time, we’ll see what happens. It’s not really something that I’ve got on my radar.”

In December, a profile posing as Christine appeared on the celebrity dating app Raya, but she said that the profile was not actually her “this time” and admitted that she wouldn’t know “where to start” with using the app.

Christine and Paddy publicly announced their split last July, after privately ending their relationship earlier in the year, but are still living together and haven’t told their kids – twins Penelope and Leo, nine, and daughter Felicity, seven – about their break-up.

Christine told The Mirror: “We don’t want any dramatic changes overnight so it’s going to be a slow process moving forward, we don’t really know what the future holds.”

Despite their split, the couple recently enjoying a festive family holiday with their three children, with Christine telling OK! magazine: We’re amicable.

“I’m quite happy for him to be there with the children and it’s nice for them to see mummy and daddy just being alright,” adding: “We can sit and have a cup of tea together and that’s fine.”
