Claudia Winkleman admits she fears she’ll be axed from The Traitors.
The star was a big hit with viewers when the show launched in 2022 but she still thinks she could be replaced.
She said: “You never take anything for granted. After we did the first series, I’d seen the tweed blazer in the sale and thought, ‘I’d probably get that if I did another series’.
“But you don’t… you mustn’t do that. Because you never know what happens. I was hopeful I’d be asked to do the second one, but we didn’t take anything for granted.”

When bosses offered Claudia a deal to front the show’s second series, she jumped at the chance.
She said: “They told me. ‘We’d like you to do it again’. And I immediately googled the funnel necks! Make no mistake, this is my baby, but you’re still very grateful when the job offer comes in.”
Claudia has been on TV for more than 25 years and The Traitors is one of her favourite jobs yet.
She said: “It’s so magical. When the game starts, I am obsessed by the day. I watch the contestants and listen to them. It’s the greatest privilege to watch those people work it out.”
There are just a few days to go until the new series kicks off and Claudia is promising it will be must-see TV.
She said: “There are new twists and the missions are bigger. I really want people who loved it the first time to love it a second time.”
