A worried Kate replied: “Listen I’m going to give you a warning as your mum Nitya. I want you to come away from that edge. Your reporting is brilliant and vital but we’re concerned about you. We don’t want you to get swept up or anything and I know you’re always cautious and you’ve got people there making sure your safe but come on, move slightly away.” Nitya replied: “Will do Kate, roger that.”

“As a lifeboat crew member myself I am hoping that I am not required to go to sea,” he said He is also encouraging people to heed emergency services advice about not travelling saying “Keep away from the water as much as you can.”
