Coronation Street fans were left with their jaws on the floor after Tina O’Brien revealed her age in a stunning social media snap.
The ITV star shot to fame in 1999 playing Sarah Platt on the long-running soap.
Tina was only 16 when she first set foot on the iconic cobbles – and has been a part of several dramatic storylines since.

It’s safe to say that Tina, who has bagged several awards and nominations for her role as Sarah, has amassed a loyal legion of fans throughout her Corrie journey.
But the mum-of-one recently left plenty of her followers flooded when she took to her Instagram to reflect on an upcoming birthday milestone.

In the post, she shared on Sunday (April 2) Tina uploaded gorgeous new headshots of herself while revealing that she will be turning 40 in August.
Alongside the picture, Tina wrote in the caption: “I’m turning 40 this year. Decided it’s time to update my seriously outdated headshots for Spotlight.
‘A massive thank you to @neilson_photo_actors I’m absolutely over the moon with them.”
But several of Tina’s loyal fans were in disbelief that she is 39.
Rushing the comments section, plenty of them proclaimed that she still looks the same as when she first appeared on TV screens.
One user said: ‘Tina you don’t look 40 at all you look so young,’ and another added: ‘Omg 40 you look 25 !!! Seriously’.
“Gonna need to check your birth certificate there’s absolutely no way your 40,” gushed a second follower.
Echoing their thoughts, someone else chimed in and added: “Tina you don’t look 40 at all you look so young.”
A fourth agreed and said: “You haven’t aged one bit! Was watching Corrie the other night and said to my Mum, ‘Sarah doesn’t bloody age!'”

“Omg 40 you look 25 !!! Seriously” said a third fan, with another writing: “Currently watching old eps of Corrie from approx 20 years ago and you’ve barely aged!”
Meanwhile Tina’s co-stars also gushed over the post with Lucy-Jo Hudson writing: “Babe you still look 21. how have you not aged?”
Sophie Webster star Brooke Vincent agreed, saying: “Still look 21,” while Catherine Tydesley added: “Babe!!! 40?!?! You still look 13!!! gorgeous xxxxx.”
