Coronation Street fans have pointed out a major error in the soap’s latest “vile” storyline.
Viewers of the long-running ITV soap watched in horror on Wednesday (February 15) as baddie Stephen drugged Carla.
But eagle-eyed fans have since spotted a flaw – and took to Twitter to call out the show.

In the latest explosive episode, bad guy Stephen was up to his old tricks.
Keen to take over the factory from Carla, Stephen drugged her in a bid to convince everyone on the cobbles that she is suffering from psychosis again.
Out for revenge, Stephen laced Carla’s cup of coffee with LSD, and unbeknownst to her, she takes a gulp.
Later on, Carla starts to appear woozy and disconcerted – but serial killer Stephen was not quite finished.
After heading to the rovers for work drinks, Stephen spikes Carla yet again with more LSD in her red wine.
Carla then starts to act out of sorts, and sparks concern amongst her pals and fellow residents.
Peter arrives and panicked for his beau, rushes her home worried that her psychosis has come back.
However, following the horror scenes, viewers took to Twitter to point out an error in the storyline.
“Think Stephen has forgotten there’s CCTV in the factory,” penned one fan.
Echoing their thoughts, a second person penned: “Surely the CCTV (if there is any, there b****y should be) in the pub just captured, Stephen, spiking, Carla’s, drink!”
“The fact that one ever suspects Stephen or thinks he’s weird or dodgy beggars belief.”
Someone else mused: “Given that Sarah has been having the exact conversation about Carla’s psychosis with Stephen, why can’t they work it out? Co-incidence right.”
Elsewhere, other soap fans were quick to fume over evil Stephen, with one person tweeting: “Stephen is vile.”
“Feel totally sick watching Stephen spike Carla’s drink, then smirking as he sees her drink it. He truly is desperate low life,” raged a second one.
