Coronation Street fans were left doing a double take at their screens after Elle Mulvaney posed up a storm at the Inside Soap Awards.
The actress, best known for playing Amy Barlow on the ITV soap, enjoyed the star-studded night out on Monday (September 25). Joined by her Corrie co-stars, the cast got themselves dressed up to the nines for the bash.
But it was Elle who left plenty of fans floored after she debuted a glam new look. So much so, that some insisted it “was not her.”

In a photo shared to the Coronation Street Instagram account, Elle posed with Stephen actor Todd Boyce, Charlotte Jordan, who plays Daisy Midgley, Ryan actor Ryan Prescott and Channique Sterling-Brown, who plays Dee-Dee Bailey.
Elle looked stunning in a strapless black top and oversized leather jacket. She amped up the style by slipping into a clingy miniskirt adorned with studs all over.
Her lush chocolate tresses were styled in bouncy waves that cascaded down her shoulders. As for makeup, she opted for a full face of glam.
In the comments section, fans soon shared their shock at how different Elle looked from her character. One follower said: “Who is the one in the black leather jacket?”
Another chimed in and mused: “Is that “Amy” in the black leather jacket?” Someone else replied and wrote: “unrecognizable.”
Echoing their thoughts, a fourth proclaimed: “That’s not Amy is it?!” A fifth said: “They scrub up well don’t they lol.”
Ellie also shared a slew of snaps to her own Instagram, including a gorgeous and glamorous close-up shot.
At the Inside Soap Awards, it was EastEnders that came up triumphs. The BBC series bagged six awards out of 15 – including the award for best soap.
