Taking to Twitter to share a screen-grab from an episode in 1989, a fan tagged Sally, who portrays Jenny Connor (Bradley) in the Manchester-based soap.

“Jenny’s 18th birthday. A day to remember for all the wrong reasons,” Sally wrote when she shared the throwback.
Looking no different in 1989 than what she does today in 2023, Jenny could be seen holding her voluminous hair up while Rita Tanner fastened her necklace.
Both actresses looked almost identical to how they do today, despite it being almost 34 years since the episode was shot.
The fan who shared the snap then replied to Sally’s post and said: “13 March 1989 that episode was shown and it had some viewers tuning in.”
“There were a few,” teased Sally.
“Yep it had to be! 19.01m,” said the fan, which left Sally in shock as she typed: “Blimey!”
Other fans commented on the post, with one writing: “She looks just like Fergie (Sarah Ferguson, The Duchess Of York).”
“The best hair ever,” added another.
While a third person went on to gush: “What a corker!”
Sally has played the role of Jenny Bradley, the daughter of the villainous Alan Bradley (Mark Eden) in Corrie on and off since 1986.
After joining in ’86 she left in 1991 before returning briefly in 1993.
She then popped up in Emmerdale back in 2005 as Sandra Briggs, before returning to the cobbles in February 2015.
Jenny is now the landlady of the Rovers Return and is currently embroiled in a tense storyline with Stephen Reid.
