Corrie's Samia Longchambon supports co-star Mollie ahead of Dancing on Ice semi-final

Coronation Street actress Samia Longchambon has wished her co-star Mollie Gallagher a good luck ahead of the Dancing on Ice semi-final.

The soap star, 40, headed to the ice rink to throw her support behind the Nina Lucas actress, who is partnered with Samia’s husband Sylvain Longchambon.

Taking to Instagram, Samia filmed her hubby and Mollie skating around the ice in training as they prepare to battle it out in the semi-final on Sunday (March 5).

Samia, who met Sylvain when she took part in Dancing on Ice back in 2013, has been on the sidelines supporting her husband since day one.

When the ITV show kicked off in January, the Maria Connor actress shared a snap of her and the skating pro alongside one of their sons, gushing how special it was to watch him on the ice.

“Last night was pretty special.. it was Yves’ first time watching his Papa skate live on @dancingonice ..he loved every second, we both did!

“Huge congrats to you @mollie.gallagher_ and Sylvain for a fabulous first performance!,” she added.

On Sunday (February 26), Mollie and Sylvian had to perform with a trolley as part of props week.

The blonde bombshell thoroughly impressed the judges with her routine, scoring a respectable 33 out of 40 for the performance.

The actress also won over the public with her routine as she managed to avoid the dreaded skate off and earn her place in the semi-final.

It was Hollyoaks actress Carley Stenson and The Wanted’s Siva Kaneswaran who had to battle it out to remain in the competition, with the singer coming out on top after receiving a unanimous vote from the judges.

Alongside Mollie and Siva, the celebrities who remain in the competition are TOWIE’s Joey Essex, Drag icon The Vivienne, and Olympian Nile Wilson.
