Dame Edna Everage star Barry Humphries’ last public photo before his tragic death has been revealed.
The star passed away on Saturday (April 22) at age 89, following complications from his hip replacement surgery.
Barry could be seen hugging a fan at a spa in the last photo of him has been publicly shared and was taken in December last year.

The Melbourne-born star was barefoot and donned salmon-pink chinos and a striped shirt in the sweet encounter.
Barry looked cheery as he put his arms around two female fans.
The Australian comedian passed away in Sydney’s St Vincent’s Hospital, which his family by his side, his management said.
Just days ago, he was permitted to leave hospital but returned after a setback.
Right to the end, Barry remained his chirpy self as he thanked the health professionals for keeping him in such high spirits.
One of his family members said: “Would also like to thank the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at St Vincent’s Hospital.”
Barry also suffered a fall in February this year, which he revealed during an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald a month later.
He tripped over and it resulted in the necessity of a hip surgery.
Barry claimed: “It was the most ridiculous thing, like all domestic incidents are. I was reaching for a book, my foot got caught on a rug or something, and down I went” in “agony”.
Celebrity tributes have poured in for the star who was loved and admired by many.
Piers Morgan posted online: “RIP Barry Humphries, 89. One of the funniest people I’ve ever met.
“A wondrously intelligent, entertaining, daring, provocative, mischievous comedy genius. As hilarious in private as he was as the iconic Dame Edna. What a life, what a character. Thanks for all the laughs, Barry.”
Little Britain star Matt Lucas said: “I wonder if all geniuses are as lovely as Barry Humphries. Thank you for delighting and inspiring us. Quite simply, you were the greatest.”
Dannii Minogue penned: “I was lucky to meet Barry and Lizzie through my great friend Kathy. A cheeky humour that will be very missed. Vale Barry Humphries”
