Danniella Westbrook has exposed the truth about Dancing On Ice as she says some partners have known each other for a “long time”.
The ex-EastEnders actress starred on the show back in 2010 and revealed the ins and outs of her experience to the Daily Star during a Facebook Live chat.
Danniella, 49, said: “A few people on the show had been skating and knew their partners for quite a long time, in my series.

“Also, some people have skated all their life as well and already knew what they were doing, as they had known they were going to be doing the show a lot longer than others.

“They [ITV] can’t stop people from having training if they know they’ve definitely got the job.
“If I had known that, I would have got a lot more time on the ice if I could but I still did it to the best of my ability. There was no animosity with anyone on there, we all had a really good time.”
When asked if she thought this was fair, she explained: “It would just be like me going on Strictly – the same as Denise Van Outen – we were both in the same class at school at Sylvia Young’s and had been trained to dance.

“When you are an actor, you do have dancing and training abilities so it’s only natural some kids grow up learning to skate, so they could skate a lot better than we could.”
Danniella also confessed that she loved dressing up on the show and “playing different characters” – especially her sexy secretary look.
Talking about her office get-up, she said: “That’s it, that’s when I had a chair with wheels on it. I loved that week.”

When asked if she minded dressing up like that, Danniella added: “I didn’t mind, I got through every week playing a different character. I did Grease and a Kelly Clarkson number, we just tried to tell a story every week with it.
“I’ve got all of my outfits from Dancing On Ice, they let me keep them all. I shouldn’t really say that as you’re not meant to do that.”
