Dancing On Ice star Joey Essex has been dealt a major blow ahead of the show’s highly-anticipated final next weekend.
The 32-year-old, who shot to fame in 2011 on TOWIE, has won the hearts of the nation, as well as l the judges, during his stint on the glitzy ITV competition.
So much so, that Joey has skated his way into the final, along with drag queen The Vivienne and Olympic gymnastic Nile Wilson.

In Sunday’s episode (March 5) Joey and his pro partner Vanessa Bauer brought the house down with their heart-tugging performance – to the point that she broke down in tears.
Despite bagging 38.0 points, the two ended up in the bottom three, but were eventually saved by the judges and landed a place in the final.
And now, with less than a week to go until the tense final, Joey has been issued a huge blow.
According to bookies, the Essex hunk is unlikely to win the show next Sunday.
The team over at OLBG currently has Joey at 5/1 to be crowned the champ.
The Vivienne is the second favourite to win with odds of 6/1 and Nile Wilson is currently the favourite to win the show, with odds of 1/4.
“Nile Wilson is still the big favourite to win Dancing On Ice following another impressive performance from the Gymnast!
“Judges gave Wilson the first 40 points of the show and bookies now make him 1/4 to win!” says Steve Madgwick, an Entertainment Betting Expert.
In Sunday night’s explosive show, viewers saw not one but two stars leave the competition in a double elimination – after all five couples performed two show-stopping performances on the infamous rink.
As the judges decided to save Joey, The Wanted singer Siva Kaneswaran and Coronation Street star Mollie Gallagher were booted from the show.
Ashley Banjo saved Joey and Vanessa, while Oti Mabuse also opted for Joey and Vanessa.
Olympic champions Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean also opted to save the Only Way Is Essex star and his German professional skating partner.
Speaking after her exit, Mollie said it had been “truly the best experience”.
Whereas Siva said: “It’s been great, honestly.
“Klabera it has been wonderful skating with you,” he told his skating partner.
