Danniella Westbrook 'can't wait' to welcome new 'baby boy' after devastating loss

Danniella Westbrook took to Instagram to announce she’ll soon be welcoming her new “baby boy” to her family.

The former EastEnders star who recently left the UK for Spain is waiting for her puppy, an American pocket bully, to be born. The dog is a hybrid that is bred from an American Pit Bull Terrier and a Patterdale Terrier.

Writing on Instagram, Danniella wrote: “@pocket.bully.ghost I literally can’t wait for the litter and to get my baby boy,” adding two red heart emojis and a kiss.

The 49-year-old’s newest addition to the family comes after losing her 13-year-old beloved pet bulldog, Bruno.

“I’m truly devastated that your gone . Sleep well My Bruno Bear,” she told her 105,000 Instagram followers. “My friend was looking after him while I was at an event.”

“She had only been in bed an hour when I came home and he was laid in the hallway. I was calling him and he wasn’t moving,” Danniella wrote.

“He’d died. He was 13, but it’s still horrible. It’s awful,” she added.

Danniella recently made headlines after getting reconstructive surgery done to her face and documenting the experience on her Instagram page, revealed that she’d “waited so long” to have the work done.

She thanked her surgeon for “boosting her confidence” in the lengthy caption of a selfie post smiling with her new look.

“Can’t thank Natalie @ncaesthetics_x you’ve boosted my confidence so much with the procedures you gave me,” she typed. “I’m ready to have my last operation next week then after that watch out world cos I’m back.”

Danniella went on to explain that she’s got acting gigs lined up and is excited to get started, with a “busy year” ahead.

She concluded: “It’s going to be a busy year, my David home later this year and I turn 50 in November. So a huge thank you to all of you for your support in the glory days and the dark times . I am so full of gratitude to everyone.”
