Iconic gameshow Deal Or No Deal is set to return to our TV screens.
ITV have confirmed that the beloved programme will return in a brand-new setting and with brand-new prize boxes, as contestants hope to win an eye-watering cash prize and beat the banker.
The new series will be hosted by Catchphrase and In For A Penny presenter Stephen Mulhern, but a broadcast date is yet to be confirmed.

Speaking about the return of Deal Or No Deal, Stephen said: “Wow what an opportunity, I’m beyond excited to be hosting the brand-new series.
“I’ve always been such a huge fan of the show, so much so, I’ve been practising at home with small cereal boxes! It looks so simple but it’s an incredibly compelling game for both those playing and the viewers watching at home.
“It’s one of the greatest shows of all time and to be the new host is an honour! I can’t wait to get started.”
Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Entertainment commissioning added: “Deal or No Deal is such an iconic format and we are delighted that it will be joining the ITV family.
“Stephen’s infectious warmth and wit mixed with his natural rapport with members of the public is the perfect combination for this much-loved TV series.”
The gameshow first launched in the Netherlands in 2002, before TV legend Noel Edmonds took over the helm when it launched on Channel 4 in the UK in 2005.
Deal Or No Deal ran for more than 11 years until 2016, and saw hundreds of contestants confronted with 22 sealed boxes – each hiding a different sum of money – in the hope of scooping the grand £250,000 prize.
Casting is now open for the new series and people interested in applying can complete an application form via the Deal Or No Deal website here.
