DJ Michael Bibi has revealed that he has been diagnosed with a “very rare” cancer aged 32.
The London-based electronic musician shared the news in an emotional post on his Instagram page on Monday evening (June 5).
Michael uploaded a snap of himself with a canula strapped to his hand as he told fans he was battling with CNS Lymphoma, a rare form of brain and spinal cancer.

Alongside the picture, he wrote: ‘”Hello world, writing this post is a hard one.. last week I was diagnosed with CNS Lymphoma. A very rare cancer that effects the brain & spine.
“Unfortunately it’s moving fast & l to have to stay in hospital starting treatment immediately.
“Typing this message doesn’t quite seem real & I’m sorry for the bad news. I don’t know what lies ahead, I’m tired but I know I am strong & I won’t let this beat me.
“Wish me luck & I will be back stronger for you all. Love Bibi.”
Fans and Michael’s music colleagues soon rushed to the comments section to send their support.
DJ Jax Jones said: “You can beat this mate. Wishing you a speedy recovery,” while Martin Garrix wrote: “You got this bro! Sending lost of strength and love.”
One fan commented: “So much love, you’ve got this Mike stay strong.”
Echoing their thoughts, someone else said: “I can’t believe it, l’m so sorry really, I have no words, I have tears! please fight and come back soon.”
Michael was forced to cancel his performances earlier this year due to ongoing tinnitus health-related issues, and later told his fans that his symtoms were due to a “more serious” neurological concern.
In a video posted online he said: “I’m doing alright. Long story short, I had some tinnitus and they did a bunch of tests on that but it turns out it’s more of a neurological problem within my brain and the brain stem.
“So yeah, the doctors don’t know exactly what’s going on or what it is yet but I’m in the hospital now and they’re doing lots of tests and hopefully, I should get some answers soon and get to start some treatment and then get back out there.”
