Music icon Dolly Parton is as well known for her stunning appearance, as she is for her hit records.
The Jolene and I Will Always Love You singer has spokenly openly in the past about undergoing plastic surgery, including the eye-watering amount that she spent on her breast augmentation.
That’s not all, as Dolly’s own surgeon has also spoken out on the procedures that the star has undergone in the past too.

As Dolly Parton turns 77 years old (January 19), Daily Star has taken a closer look at what the singer has said about her plastic surgery procedures in the past.
Candid confessions
Dolly Parton has spoken openly about going under the knife and her extensive plastic surgery procedures throughout the years.
In 2003, she also made a candid confession to Oprah Winfrey during a TV appearance, after she was questioned about whether she would continue to have surgery in the future.
“It takes a lot of money to look this cheap,” said Dolly.
She then continued to suggest that she would have more surgery in the future, saying: “If I see something sagging, bagging or dragging, I’ll get it nipped, tucked or sucked.”
Speaking about her appearance, the blonde beauty also admitted to CBS Sunday Morning that she did not think she was “naturally pretty.”
“It is true that I look artificial, but I believe that I’m totally real.
“My look is really based on a country girl’s idea of glam. I wasn’t naturally pretty, so I make the most of anything I’ve got,” said the singer.
“You should have seen me this morning before I got ready to see you. I’m serious, though.
“I’m not a natural beauty, but I can enhance it. Whatever it takes, I do. I try to make the most of everything.”
$1m boob augmentation
Dolly has previously revealed that she has spent more than $1m (£822,000) on her breast augmentation, but admitted to The Stuff that she has not had them insured.
However, she did confirm how much she paid, saying: “I just paid a million dollars for them, and I hope they look like a million dollars, too!”
The music icon also made a joke about people’s reactions to her breasts, adding: “I’ve slapped a few people who didn’t stare at them! This kind of money, they’d better be looking at them.”
Surgery to six different body parts
Daily Express reported that in total, Dolly has had plastic surgery to six different body parts.
This is reported to include a breast augmentation, breast implants, a brow lift, surgery on her eyelids, a nose job, and surgery to her chin.
Dolly Parton’s surgeon Dr. John Grossman has also spoken openly about the singer’s procedures – and which body parts she has had nipped and tucked.
Speaking on The Today Show, Dr. Grossman revealed that as well as the surgery to her breasts, she has had some facial rejuvenation – but not a full face lift.
“She has a generous bosom, which I augmented some years ago,” said the surgeon.
“She’s had her face rejuvenated on a number of occasions, [but] not a full face-lift.”
On-stage wigs
Along with speaking about her plastic surgery procedures, Dolly has also admitted that she wears wigs onstage – but does not wear them at home.
Instead Dolly opts for a cute scrunchie look at home, as she wants to make sure that she has “flashy hair” both at home and in public.
Speaking to Elle Magazine, she said: “I don’t always wear [wigs] in my daily life, but I always still pouf up my hair.
“I still like to have that flashy hair. When I’m around home, I wear my little scrunchies, but I always put on some makeup and fix my own hair as cute as I can fix it.”
Dolly added: “Wigs are just so handy. I’m so busy, and I have so many choices.
“I never have a bad hair day, and that’s a good thing.”
